"University provides opportunity. A chance to grow and gain the necessary knowledge that will applied to the real world. It can be a little overwhelming at first, but you'll all adjust in no time"

Ted has never been socially inept; an awkward person to be around, he struggled to find friend during high school. University was a fresh start to change all of that. A new era of his life, it's time to make something of his life; to get out there and introduce himself to the world.

Making friends, becoming known to his classmates, Ted was letting himself out there to everyone and becoming well liked. However, a new chapter of his life was about to begin, in the name of Heather. When in the same room, Ted would revert back to the socially awkward boy he use to be in a past life, as love at first sight strikes. As he tries to get beyond the socially awkward boy he once was, in order to impress Heather, truths are revealed and begin to shake the life that Ted is trying to make for himself.

The juggling of personal, academic and love lives can prove to be a little more daunting than Ted had originally planned.

Game Time Expired follows the life of Malcolm, a 18 year old male who has devoted the last 7 years of his life to professional gaming; playing SpaceCraft.

For a long time, he was the king of the professional league ladder on several tournament sites, entering sponsored tournaments and earning tens of thousands of dollars in winnings. The women wanted him, the men wanted to be him; he was on top of the gaming world.

He reigned as king until that horrific day; defeated by an unranked player, his life was over. The first of a string of defeats saw Malcolm begin to fall down the competition ladders. His age now a factor; he was nearing retirement from the game. At age 16, he was now a veteran of the game and the new, younger talent were breaking through the ranks for fame and glory. It was time to step down, before things got worse for the former champ.

Two years after his gaming career had ended, Malcolm struggles to come to terms with no longer having SpaceCraft in his life. The strain of having to handle the real world and find a job, Malcolm dreams of finding yet another game he can claim as his own and dominate the online ladders once again

Joshy Moment #326

October 2008

Being locked in at La Trobe Uni car park 2A. While waiting for security to come let me out, I began doing the song and dance of 'I'm a Little Teapot' in front of the security camera at the gate.

Security were taking their sweet ass time to get to the gate (after I had buzzed them half a dozen times already) and so I was bored and felt like performing... after all it was like 11 or 12 at night by this stage. I don't think security were watching me on the cameras though :( I wanted to know how well my performance was

Bluebird: 1x02 - Fear (2 / 2)

Part 2 of the premiere of Bluebird has been completed. My biggest worry about the script is that I hope the shock / twist I place within this script actually works it's magic. I've never written something that throws in a surprise element before, so I'm wondering if I effectively executed it

My night involving dinner at home with the parents...

*is presented with very very charred meat*

Me: "Are you serious? It's freaking destroyed!"

Dad: "It's cooked fine, just eat it"

*walks into kitchen and places 2 slices of bread into the toaster, deliberately burning them. Brings them out to Dad*

Me: "Here, eat this"

*Dad gets a little shitty*

Dad: "Don't waste things like that"

Me: "It's cooked fine though, just eat it"

I rest my case

Childhood Memories: Riding A Horse Around School

Posted on September 7, 2010 at 10:48 AM Comments comments (0)

I remember back in the high school period of my life, there were those kids that would just walk from classroom to classroom, making stupid car sounds. They would throttle up, slam on their brakes and make that weird air blasting sound that comes from changing gears.

One day I felt the need to counter this. So in typical nerd fashion I took a page out of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I turned up to school and proceeded to go around the school making the sounds of a horse trotting along. I thought that this was quite amusing and it made the car kids look at me like I'm some sort of mentally challenged retard (yeah, because YOU of all people should be judging ME).

But alas, my fun came to an end when a teacher comes up to me and stops me in my tracks; asking that I stop the "stupidity" or else I'd get in trouble. So what do I do? What any proud nerd would do; quote the film!

"Help! I'm being repressed!"

I wound up spending my lunch time break, in the corrals, thinking about what I've done...

The Adventures of Drunk Joshy: PS3

Posted on August 31, 2010 at 9:36 AM Comments comments (0)

So it seems that I have two personalities; Drunk Joshy and Sober Joshy.

So on Sunday, after a night of some pretty heavy drinking the night before, I wake up to find the following note:

"Because you don’t use your ps3 i decide to hide it from you. All the bst with finding it

Kisses

-Joshy"

So, surely enough I begin to tear apart my room to find my beloved playstation 3 console to which I am unsuccessful.

I then begin over the next couple of days, looking around the house in various hiding spots I know of that I could stash the console. But despite all my efforts I am still unsuccessful at finding my PS3.

Three days later luck strikes. After putting the dog out for the night, I just happen to be cleaning out his kennel of tennis balls like I do on occasion and wouldn't you know it, I find my PS3.... inside the f***ing dog kennel. My PS3 had been stashed away into the dog's kennel and it stayed in there for three days until I finally found it.

I feel that this is not the last I will hear from Drunk Joshy
